HOST FORMATS

RACE FORMATS - Each host will determine how the race will be run. Each car must be run equally as to amount laps or time, lanes run on, and drivers according to the format chosen. Though a "set number of laps" is preferred over a "set time" format, both are acceptable.

Optional Single Host Format - This format is more suited for oval tracks, but can work for road courses with relatively low lap times. All cars will run a minimum 20 lap Qualifying race consisting of 10 laps each in the inner and outer most lanes
*. Based on the combined overall elapsed time, the Top 10 cars from the Qualifying race will go into the Main race. The remaining cars from the Qualifying race will go into the 40 lap Consolation race consisting of 20 laps each in the inner and outer most lanes.

The Top 5 from the 40 lap Consolation race will be added to the 60 lap B Main race consisting of 30 laps each in the inner and outer most lanes.

Cars that do not qualify for the Main race will be awarded points based on their overall elapsed time finishing order in the Consolation race.

The 15 positions in the Main race will be awarded points based on the overall elapsed time finishing order.

* Note: Running both inside and outside lanes is NOT mandatory for this format.

The car posting the fastest lap during any of the races will be awarded 5 Bonus Points.
